Rats and Mice hate leaving your house.

In our opinion rodent exclusion is one of the most difficult services for companies to get right. Many times we come to a customer’s house which had another company already out that defaulted to easy repair techniques along with an incomplete inspection. That combination produces predictable results - the rodents either never get exterminated or new ones come back quickly.

We take a different approach, we look top to bottom for holes, seal those with permanent techniques and trap out the living rodents. Our next visit includes a perimeter check, a trap check and asking you questions about activity. We include a report which keeps our techs and you all on the same page and results in eliminating the issue quicker plus if you get them again, we’re not starting from scratch. Our overall approach to rodent exclusion means we often achieve success quickly, however even if we don’t have success right away, we work extremely hard until we do.

In addition to a great inspection, we also provide pictures and different options for the work to be done. Our inspection fee for most properties is only $85 and that gets waived if you do any work with us.

Great rodent exclusion starts with finding the problem and ends with proper sealing.

Why choose us?

  • We are FULLY licensed and bonded pest control company and have years of experience behind us and we specialize in control rodents.

  • In addition to being a licensed pest control company, we have immense experience specifically in rodent exclusion work. In our opinion, this is the most difficult service to get right within the industry. Rats in particular are extremely intelligent and will do anything they can to get out of your house once they are locked in.

  • We have found that the most important part of an exclusion service is actually the follow up. The chances a rat or mouse can find another entry/exit point are very high. The only way to know if they are getting in and out still is to monitor. We will seal any holes we find at each call back to ensure the rodents are eliminated as quickly as possible.

Why do I have rodents?

The most common answer is holes going into your crawlspace or attic. Some are easy to find, often many are not. Rats will come in for a variety of reasons including food, safety and to get out of the rain and cold. They are very smart and don’t want to be eaten, so they look for hiding and nesting places where larger animals can’t get to them. They prefer holes that are just big enough to squeeze into and actually leave almost nightly for food and water (and almost always at the same time). Mice on the other hand are very curious by nature and will sometimes just enter open doors. Once the door is closed they may be trapped and will live off very little food to survive.

CLEANING THE MESS

Rodents can make a huge mess and leave behind a. ton of droppings. Our cleaning service includes removal of dropping from hard surfaces in your attic, subarea and livable areas.

The reason we like to clean the droppings is that it helps to reduce the pheremones rats leave and importantly once we remove droppings, new droppings are a tell tale sign of a new infestation.

I never wrote a review before but I believe Smart Pest Pros deserves great reviews. I highly recommend Smart Pest Pros. Josh, the owner is very considerate and knowledgeable about rodent control. He spent his time to make sure that all possible entries were sealed. ... I am glad I have Josh taking care of my house. Thank you, Josh.
